It is really a TERRIFIC surprise suddenly to be able use WMC for recording and streaming programs again.

Got Feedback? Please I beg on my hands and knees to let us know… It's now almost a month since I had my media center. To work and this seem to just happen. I used WMC all the time with Windows 8, and I really missed it on Windows 10. this content

Windows has been rolling out the updates over the last couple days (>40 for my machine) but so far nothing that addresses this issue. I'd prefer to not overwrite my CableCard settings since doing so may require involving the cable company to get things set back up properly.
